The two most often searched websites for homes for rent in Calgary are Rentfaster.ca and the free classified website Kijiji.ca. If you want to find stats on Home Rentals in Calgary, Rentfaster.ca will tell you the total rental listings in Calgary today vs this time last year, average rental rates on available properties and a whole lot more data. Rentfaster.ca is a great resource to find your next home for rent and to research the rental market in Calgary. Because the Rentfaster.ca website is not free for landlords, you tend to get better quality ads than what you find on Kijiji. Whatever website you use beware of rental scams - if it sounds too good to be true it's most likely a scam.

How to Find A Calgary Real Estate Agent

It is pretty easy to find a Calgary Real Estate Agent thanks to Google. A search on Google for Calgary Real Estate Agents returned 1 Million results. Narrow it down to just Remax Agents and you get over 300,000 results. Maybe it's not so easy after all. Knowing what you want might be a better place to start. If you only want a Remax Realtor, there are 8 offices in Calgary all independently owned and operated. In each one of those offices are hundreds of Remax Agents who work by themselves or are part of a Real Estate Team. Realtor's also tend to be a better Buyer's Realtor or a better Seller's Realtor but will generally do either. There are over 5,000 Realtors in Calgary, and the 80/20 Rule is true in Calgary Real Estate like some many other things. Most of the Realtors in Calgary are Part Timers doing a few transactions a year. The busy 20% of the Realtors are the ones with the most experience, knowledge, training and are Full Timers doing 80% of the business.
